Key Responsibilities
Deliver creative arts therapy sessions tailored to the individual needs of students with SEMH. Develop and implement therapy plans in collaboration with teaching staff and external professionals. Monitor and evaluate the progress of students, adapting interventions as necessary. Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families to promote emotional well-being. Contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment. Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality in line with school policies. Participate in team meetings and training to support professional development. Qualifications And Experience
A relevant qualification in creative arts therapy (art, music, drama, or other therapeutic disciplines). Registration with a recognized professional body (e.g., HCPC, BAAT, BACP). Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is desirable but not essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
