We are Givaudan. Human by nature. Working in Milton Keynes, and working alongside other technicians, you will be a supporting member of the creative team. You will be involved in preparing flavour and seasoning samples, basic flavour applications and provide support to the team to ensure the smooth running of the Lab. If you can follow flavour formulations and compound flavours with speed and accuracy and have customer at the heart of everything you do, then this role could be for you. Sound interesting? Core responsibilities: Prepare flavour and seasoning samples as requested for customer briefs, application needs, technology performance assessment, QC standards, physical testing Assist in applying seasonings to food products when required Maintain all required formula records and brief documentation in company database software Maintain organised and updated stock of raw materials/flavours in the labs Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment in accordance with EHS guidelines and good laboratory practices Participate in the evaluation of raw materials (including experimental ingredients), new technology and flavours in food products and provide flavour performance feedback Participate in and contribute to project and other technical meetings Support special projects when required You? Your professional profile: Bachelor’s Degree in food science, chemistry, biology, physics, or maths A levels in food science, chemistry, biology, physics, or maths plus 1 year experience in a food applications lab, production, or a related area such as quality control (1 year degree placement experience is accepted) Demonstrable focus on delivering to customers Competent use of Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to learn new software programmes Ability to follow formulations, blend with speed and accuracy Knowledge of EHS and ability to be EHS ambassador for the department At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.
