As the Creative Design Lead at CFA Institute (formal job title: Visual Design Lead), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our global brand’s visual identity. You'll lead the creation and execution of impactful brand campaigns and design projects that captivate our global audience, ensuring all creative solutions align seamlessly with our strategic vision. This newly created role reflects our ambition to expand our in-house creative capabilities, accelerate our speed to market, and deliver exceptional design and creative solutions. Working within the Digital & Integrated Marketing team, you'll collaborate closely with social, brand, product marketing, customer experience (CX), product management, and sales teams. Together, you'll bring revenue-generating products and solutions to market while amplifying the visibility and influence of the CFA Institute brand across marketing and partner channels. This role reports into the Senior Director, Creative Design and is based in London. Candidates are eligible for Hybrid working with the expectation to be based in the London office at least 1 day a week. What You’ll Do As the

Creative Design Lead , you will: Shape Our Brand:

Develop and implement a distinctive and cohesive brand identity that shines across all communication channels.

Lead Campaigns:

Design and oversee standout advertising campaigns that not only follow brand guidelines but also captivate our audiences and drive results.

Collaborate Creatively:

Partner with internal teams—social, product marketing, CX, sales—and external agencies to deliver exceptional creative solutions that meet project goals.

Push Boundaries:

Use your expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma to craft designs that inspire and engage.

Mentor & Guide:

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the creative team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Stay Ahead:

Keep a finger on the pulse of industry trends and changing user behaviours to ensure our designs remain cutting-edge.

What We’re Looking For You’re a creative powerhouse with: Experience:

Proven experience in brand design, ideally across agency and client-side environments, with a portfolio that speaks volumes. Experience across education or investment industries would be advantageous.

Education:

Bachelor’s in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field advantageous (not mandatory).

Skills:

Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and motion design, with the ability to craft storyboards and engaging animations. Bonus: HTML know-how for advertising campaigns.

Vision:

A strong creative voice with the ability to transform concepts into visually stunning realities.

Collaboration:

Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas and work effectively with cross-functional teams and partners.

Attention to Detail:

A commitment to delivering high-quality work that aligns with strategic goals.
