Creative Digital Media Teacher

who can bring the subject to life, encouraging students to explore various aspects of digital media, including film, animation, and graphic design. Key Responsibilities as a Creative Digital Media Teacher:

Plan and deliver high-quality, creative digital media lessons that inspire students to develop their skills in media production, digital communication, and multimedia design. Use a range of digital tools and software to teach students practical skills in film editing, animation, photography, and other forms of digital media. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their best. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the digital media curriculum. Encourage participation in extracurricular activities, such as media clubs, workshops, and school productions, to further enrich students' learning experience. Requirements for the Creative Digital Media Teacher Role:

A relevant degree in Creative Digital Media, Media Studies, or a related field, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching digital media or related subjects in a secondary school setting. Proficiency in using media production software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or similar tools. Strong communication skills and a passion for engaging students in creative and practical learning. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students, with a thorough understanding of safeguarding procedures. Please be advised that the role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
