Creative Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is looking for teaching assistants from creative backgrounds such as acting, drama, and music to work in our primary schools in Croydon.

As a teaching assistant, you will work both one-on-one and within a class, supporting both your peers and students in a positive and engaging environment. Successful candidates will encourage student development, engage through sensory play and interaction, understand social cues and skills, and teach independent living to students with diagnoses such as autism, speech and language difficulties, severe learning disabilities, and physical disabilities.

These schools are looking for teaching assistants who can apply their creative skills within early years and primary settings to maintain an engaging and fulfilling learning experience.

Main Duties:

Engaging students through interactive and creative activities Helping with sensory integration within the classroom Working with the teacher to assess pupils' levels and abilities Ensuring the school's ethos and policies are implemented Liaising with parents and carers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
