Role: Creative Teaching Assistant Salary: £84–95 per day Location: Oldbury Are you a creative professional with a passion for making a difference? Protocol Education is looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants from artistic, dramatic, or musical backgrounds to join our SEND schools in Wolverhampton. This role is tailored for individuals with a creative spark who can bring energy and innovation to the classroom while supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Your creativity will help students thrive by engaging them through sensory play, interactive activities, and fostering their development in areas such as social skills, independence, and communication. What You’ll Be Doing: Creating engaging, interactive activities that capture students’ attention and imagination. Supporting sensory integration and encouraging positive participation in the classroom. Assisting teachers in assessing pupils' progress and adapting approaches to meet their needs. Promoting a nurturing and inclusive environment in line with the school’s ethos and policies. Building strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure continuity in student support. Who We’re Looking For: This role is perfect for creative individuals who: Have experience working with children or young adults with SEND, such as autism, speech and language difficulties, physical disabilities, or severe learning needs. Are patient, compassionate, and adaptable, with a passion for helping students succeed. Thrive in early years and primary education settings, where creativity and sensory engagement are key.
