The Role At our Penrith branch, we are currently recruiting for a Credit Control and Administrator to join our dynamic team and provide dedicated support to our customers.

Typical Duties

The primary responsibility is for Credit Control, premium collection, defaults, refunds, and queries. Collation, dispatch, and accountability for client renewal documentation whilst meeting timeframes. Undertake general administrative duties. Work alongside and support the office with daily administrative tasks. Efficient management of incoming and outgoing post. Produce correspondence to required time frames and quality standards. Maintain record keeping as per requirements for your role. Develop and sustain effective working relationships with customers, all members of the Agency, and NFU Mutual Staff. Work within the Compliance Framework required by the Company/Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Use of all Microsoft Office Applications as well as Insurance Policies. Full training and support will be provided. Utilise task management software to manage workflows. Perform other duties assigned by the Management Team.

Desired Skills and Qualities A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of credit control, focused on high standards of accuracy and regulatory requirements. Excellent grasp of Business Maths and English. IT Literate with strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent written and oral communication skills. An understanding and possible experience of working in a credit control environment. Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and manage competing priorities. A dedicated team player who thrives on challenges, doing everything possible to make a real difference for your customers and always prepared to go the extra mile. Energetic, enthusiastic, and resilient, passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
