This role will naturally have a broad range of responsibilities and will support the Financial Controller in helping the business through its next stage of growth. About you You will be an experienced professional with proven experience in credit control and team management. You will have a strong background in operating within fast-paced and dynamic business environments and take pride in the high standards of your work. You will be effective both as an individual contributor and as part of a team. The role As a Credit Control Manager, you will oversee the company’s credit control function, ensuring efficient management of accounts receivable and minimising overdue debts. This role involves leading a team of credit controllers, developing strategies to optimise cash flow, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Your role will include but is not limited to: Providing coaching, guidance, and training to a team of Credit Controllers to ensure high-quality, efficient work is maintained in the accounts receivable department. Providing accurate, timely billing, collections, and reconciliations for a portfolio of customer accounts. Preparing and presenting regular reports on accounts receivable, aged debt, and cash flow forecasts. Monitoring and analysis of AR aging reports, identifying and addressing delinquent accounts, as well as coordinating with the team, customer service, and sales to resolve disputes. Establishing credit limits for customers, approving credit applications, conducting credit checks, and managing risk. Supporting the Finance team by coordinating documentation for half-year and year-end external audits. What the Client has to offer A salary level of £45,000 - £55,000.
