Credit Control & Master Data Specialist / Blackburn / Salary £24,000 – £26,000 / Study Support / Flexible Working Hours / Performance Bonus / Permanent Role Credit Control & Master Data Specialist Role Overview An exciting opportunity has become available for a Credit Control & Master Data Specialist to join a Global Shared Service Centre based in Blackburn. As the Credit Control & Master Data Specialist you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, issuing B2B customer invoices, monitoring credit limits, and following up on overdue payments. Credit Control & Master Data Specialist Responsibilities Manage customer accounts, monitor outstanding balances, and chase overdue payments to ensure timely collections. Accurately raise and process B2B customer invoices in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and company policies. Set up and maintain customer accounts, ensuring credit limits are adhered to and updated in line with company policies. Provide regular updates on aged debt, outstanding balances, and other key credit control metrics to the Credit Control & Master Data Manager. Investigate and resolve customer queries related to invoices, payments, and account discrepancies promptly and professionally. Identify and suggest improvements to credit control, invoicing, and master data processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Ensure all credit control, invoicing, and master data activities adhere to internal controls and external regulatory requirements. Credit Control & Master Data Specialist Experience Required Previous experience in credit control or a related finance role. Experience in raising and processing B2B customer invoices. Strong understanding of credit management principles and processes. Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in maintaining master data records. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
