TMM Recruitment is assisting our client with the search for a Credit Control Supervisor to support the Group Finance Controller on a contract basis in Aberdeenshire. This important role is focused on the daily supervision of the Credit Control Team, driving the company's short and long-term strategic goals, the management of customer accounts and timely collection of their balances. Main duties and responsibilities Assisting with the execution of the company's short and long-term strategy and strategic goals, by being aware of these goals and how their role contributes to company success. Creating and managing customer accounts, updating customer information as required. Communicating with customers to obtain payments to account, agreeing settlement terms with customers experiencing difficulty paying their balance. Coordinating with Treasury Accountant to ensure accurate customer Direct Debit collections. Accepting customer card payments from their telephone calls, processing to D365. Receiving customer calls and emails, investigating queries and providing sufficient response to ensure a satisfying experience for the customer. As internal customers, liaise with the Sales Team to action issues from their individual Debt Reports. Reviewing periodically the performance of debt ageing per Credit Controller through a Top 100/ >90 day mechanism. Holding regular Debtor meetings with Controllers to discuss target areas. Monitoring relevant KPIs for the group to ensure improvement and highlight areas of concern as applicable. Actively working to ensure continuous improvement within the Credit Control Team through process efficiencies and key deliverables. Working with Group Financial Controller to ensure all relevant data and KPIs are reported in an appropriate medium, are transparent, understood and delivered in a timely manner. Improving internal/external customer experience by providing high quality guidance, solutions and advice. Instilling team working and high standards toward both internal and external customers. Applicants to this role require Numerical and analytical skills. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong problem solving skills. Communication skills across written/verbal and listening mediums. Ability to work independently. High level of integrity and dependability.
