Eden Scott are delighted to be supporting our client to recruit for a Credit Control Team Leader to join their office based in Edinburgh.
This is a full time, permanent post with hybrid working (3/2 split). Onsite working is required within the first month for training purposes.
The ideal candidate would be a Senior Credit Controller / Credit Control Team Lead. As the role is within the legal industry, this would be advantageous but not a deal breaker. The preference additionally is for someone who has controlled for a service instead of controlling a product.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring debt is collected in a timely and effective manner by managing a portfolio of accounts Chasing overdue debtor balances Issuing fees/receipts to clients at month-end Daily maintenance and monitoring of the Credit Control inbox Co-managing the Credit Controller; allocate tasks to team members, producing reports and tracking KPIs
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Legal Credit Control experience is preferable Excellent Excel skills; ability to produce pivot tables, V-Lookups Great leadership skills; previous experience of mentoring and supporting junior members of staff is advantageous
