Kenton Black Finance are recruiting on behalf of a company whose head office is situated in the Heywood area and have been operating for almost 40 years. They sell over 20,000 products and they pride themselves on offering a service that they believe is second to none.
They are now recruiting for a permanent and full-time Credit Controller to help manage a ledger with circa 800 live accounts. You will need to have previous credit control experience where it has been the main element of your job.
Your new job as the Credit Controller:
Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit rankings with CreditSafe and Companies House filing history
Setting up terms and conditions of credit
Ensuring timely payment of debts
Following up payments as needed
Negotiating re-payment plans
Responding to relevant client enquiries
Processing and reconciliation of invoices
Checking and posting of receipts to our accounts system
Preparation of statements
Experience and skills required to apply:
Have a minimum of two years’ credit control experience where credit control has been the main part of your job
Great communication
Attention to detail
A good work ethic
Capable of working alongside others to achieve a collective target
