Your new company Our client, a well-established company based in Kent, is seeking a credit controller to join their finance team. Your new role Releasing orders once credit checks are completed. Setting up new customer accounts. Communicating with clients and customers regarding outstanding balances. Sending regular statements to clients. Monitoring and managing customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices. Contacting customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on outstanding payments. Conducting credit checks on potential customers. Collaborating with other departments to resolve any credit-related issues.

What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in credit control (minimum 2 years preferred). Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients. Knowledge of credit control procedures and relevant regulations. Proficiency in using financial software and tools. Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure. A proactive and results-oriented approach.
