We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Controller to join our finance team and help manage our accounts receivable, ensuring that our cash flow remains healthy.

Key Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor outstanding invoices, ensure timely payments, and reduce overdue balances. Credit Assessment: Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by reviewing financial statements, credit scores, and payment history. Payment Chasing: Proactively follow up on overdue payments through calls, emails, and letters, ensuring outstanding debts are minimized. Credit Limits Setting: Establish appropriate credit limits for customers based on risk assessments and company policies. Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve any payment disputes or issues raised by customers, maintaining strong relationships while protecting the company’s interests. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, overdue accounts, and cash flow forecasts for management. Policy Adherence: Ensure all credit control procedures are followed and suggest improvements to reduce bad debts.

Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role. Strong understanding of credit control procedures and best practices. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Proficiency in [Accounting Software, e.g., QuickBooks, SAP] and MS Office, particularly Excel. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. [Relevant qualifications, e.g., AAT, CICM certification] are a plus.
