What the role involves

  • Take ownership of a designated customer ledger and actively follow up on overdue payments.
  • Maintain strong internal and external customer relationships to support efficient collections.
  • Ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Accurately record customer queries.
  • Assisting with customer reporting and debt/payment analysis.
  • Supporting credit limit assessments in line with internal policies.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant finance, accounts, payroll, Excel, bookkeeping, or accounting-system experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

  • NG10 Long Eaton (Hybrid – 2 days working from home, 3 days in the office).
  • 37 hours per week.
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch).
