Your new company I am working with a great company looking to add a new credit controller to the team on a temporary basis. They are looking to take on a new addition as they have doubled in size over the past year with a turnover of over £50m and are forecasted to have another fantastic year! This manufacturing company is experiencing impressive growth. A credit controller plays a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining healthy cash flow.

Your new role In your new role, your day to day will look like: Evaluating the creditworthiness of customers and setting appropriate credit limits. Monitoring credit risk and recommending adjustments as needed. Issuing invoices promptly and accurately. Ensuring billing details are correct and match customer records. Chasing any overdue payments via phone, email, or letters. Negotiating payment terms and resolving disputes. Clearing down any aged debt from customer accounts and matching payments received with outstanding invoices. Investigating discrepancies and resolving any issues. Preparing regular reports on outstanding debts, cash flow, and credit performance. Collaborating with finance teams to analyse data and make informed decisions. What you'll need to succeed Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of credit control regulations and best practices - experience within a role is essential.
