As a Credit Controller, you will: Manage assigned ledgers in line with current processes and procedures: 400 – 600 customer trading accounts. Proactively chase timely settlement of due monies. Monitor and chase payments according to customers’ terms, credit limit and supporting order release process for Branches. Work with Branch Manager/teams for the resolution of invoice queries. Review and assess credit limits for customers based on their payment history, financial stability, and credit score. Manage and action credit limit reviews requested by customers and stakeholders. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts and associated activity. Process customer payments via phone. Work to departments’ monthly targets for cash collection, aged debt, and unallocated payments. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm 30-minute break Hybrid working: 1 day per week will be considered upon completion of the 3-month settling-in period You: Proven track record in a Credit Control role or department, in a B2B organisation Competent in Microsoft Excel & Word Understanding of Credit Limits & Credit Risk assessment techniques Ability to listen and negotiate with customers Good numeracy, literacy & IT skills Organisation and prioritisation skills Ability to work well in a team at a fast pace to weekly & monthly deadlines Analytical skills & attention to detail and accuracy Confidence in communicating internally and externally at various levels Please ensure you are happy with the commute before applying.
