£26,000 - £30,000 per annum dependent on experience
Our client is a reputable Road Traffic Accident Management Company that has been established for over 10 years.
This role is a new position within their Recoveries department, responsible for dealing with motor claim settlements. This individual will manage a case load of approximately 200 repair claims and will be responsible for the swift negotiation and settlement of client's repair charges from insurance companies.
Duties will include:
Negotiating with insurance companies to reach payment settlements. Chasing insurers via emails, letters, and telephone to reach settlements as quickly as possible. Obtaining supporting documents from repairers and engineers such as reports, estimates, images, invoices, etc. Preparing cases for litigation and instructing solicitors to act where settlement cannot be achieved. Working closely with the Recovery Handlers within the team who will also be negotiating with the insurers for the settlement of other heads of loss.
The required traits, skills, and background:
Credit control or cash collection experience is preferred but not essential. Confident negotiator. Confident communicator, both written and verbally. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload effectively. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
