Credit Controller

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join our Accounts team here at MotorSport Vision. This Credit Controller role is a group function within the business; therefore, you will be working on raising invoices and chasing payments for all five of our UK-based race circuits (Brands Hatch, Donington Park, Snetterton, Oulton Park & Cadwell Park). We are offering the role with flexibility on full or part-time working hours. Working with our Accounts Controller, you'll be responsible for keeping our Sales Ledger up to date and chasing due payments. Main duties will also include: Ensuring the Sales Ledger reflects the true sales of the company Collating sales agreement forms to raise invoices and credit notes Working with sales staff to ensure that queries are resolved in an efficient manner Ensuring that any discrepancies on individual accounts are resolved promptly Ensuring invoices are dispatched to customers on time Ensuring monies are collected in accordance with agreed payment terms Making our Accounts Controller aware of any problem debts and following correct collection procedures Recording notes of correspondence with customers accurately on the ledger Reconciling customer accounts as necessary Producing Sales Ledger reports when required Supporting other members of the finance team as and when required You will be/have: Previous credit control/sales ledger experience is essential Educated to at least A level standard or equivalent Ability to work as part of a wider finance function High level of detail and accuracy Confident in communicating with various departments across the business Full UK driving licence is essential Strong Microsoft package experience (Word, Excel & Outlook) Benefits of this role include: Competitive pay + benefits Up to 31 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) Access to our MSV Advantage platform, giving you access to discounts at 100s of shops across the UK.
