Our exclusive client based in Chorley is currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy accounts team. This is an established and friendly team.
Duties of the role include:
Collect overdue monies via telephone, letter, or email
Carry out credit checks for new customers
Ensure customers are adhering to agreed payment terms before sales are released
Daily cash allocation
Review debtor accounts daily to identify any issues
Highlight any debt issues to the relevant line managers
Set payment plans for any overdue or default payments
Liaise with debt collection agencies, bailiffs, and courts where necessary
Ensure that the company credit control policies are always adhered to
The successful candidate must have credit control experience and be used to working in a busy department. You must be accustomed to working to tight deadlines, be a confident communicator, and thrive in a target-driven environment.
