Your new company Hays are working exclusively with a successful company in the Manufacturing Industry who are looking for a Sales Ledger Controller/ Credit Controller to join their growing Finance team.

Your new role You will be taking responsibility for the Credit control and Sales Ledger function for a number of their sites and duties will include: Credit Control: Manage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts in a professional, firm, yet compassionate manner. Raising Invoices: Ensure invoices are raised promptly and accurately in line with client agreements and contractual terms. Posting Remittances: Process incoming payments, posting remittances against relevant accounts to maintain accurate records. Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain clear and accurate records of transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Other Ad-Hoc Duties: Assist with any other finance-related tasks as required, supporting the team and wider business needs. What you'll need to succeed You will ideally be experienced in either Credit control, Sales Ledger or Accounts with experience of working in a Manufacturing or relevant sector. You will need to have excellent communication skills, excellent attention to detail, be organised, methodical and self-motivated. You will need to be CICM or AAT Level 2 qualified (or higher) and ideally have a desire to continue your studies.
