Job Summary and Key Responsibilities: Leaders Romans Group are looking for a full time Credit Controller to join us on a permanent basis based in our busy office in Becket House, Worthing. The role will require experience in Credit Control and will involve managing a ledger, reducing aged debt and monitoring debtor days. Key Responsibilities: Manage own ledger and ensure debts are paid in a timely manner Chase overdue invoices by telephone and email within agreed timescales Ensure individual targets and objectives are achieved Handle and resolve customer queries Preparation of the daily banking Maintain accurate records of all chasing activities Attend regular meetings with business stakeholders to build and maintain interdepartmental rapport Ensure month-end process deadlines are met as required Operate within and demonstrate LRG company values at all times What Are We Looking For: Good business acumen for problem solving & customer focus Highly numerical and analytical while maintaining an appreciation of the bigger picture Confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders at all levels within the organisation Ability to negotiate the best outcome for all parties Ability to work independently, self-motivate, and work in a team Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise a demanding workload and work to deadlines Good written and oral communication skills Good level of IT knowledge and associated Microsoft Office packages Excel = intermediate level Finance qualification (AAT) preferred but not essential What We Can Offer You: Proven track record for career growth and advancement within the company Market leading training and ongoing professional development Supportive and collaborative team environment Benefits: Competitive salary Salary sacrifice pension scheme Generous holiday allowance, increasing by 1 day per year based on service with the option to purchase an additional 5 days holiday per year Staff discounts and LRG incentive program Excellent parental leave and fertility policy in place Equal Opportunities: Leaders Romans Group are an equal opportunities employer and encourage candidates of all backgrounds to apply.
