Leadership & Team Management:
Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams, including conducting performance reviews and setting annual objectives. Cash Flow Management:
Prepare weekly cash forecasts for UK and German entities; manage currency payments and ensure achievement of cash targets. Credit Control:
Set appropriate customer credit limits, liaise with sales teams to maximize sales, and manage credit exposures. Accounts Management:
Oversee customer and supplier account maintenance, including handling Letters of Credit, managing outstanding balances, and revenue recognition per IFRS 15. Risk Management:
Manage relationships with risk management service providers like Dun & Bradstreet, ensuring compliance with IFRS 9 for bad debt provisions. Supplier Payments:
Collaborate with the AP Supervisor to ensure timely supplier payments and accurate allocation of receipts. Knowledge and Skills Required:
Essential: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Strong communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines. Experience with risk management systems, such as Dun & Bradstreet. Ability to work independently, with an adaptable and commercial approach. Desirable: Experience with IFS information systems. Multilingual capabilities (German, French, Spanish, Italian, etc.). Background in Customer Service roles.
