Job Title: Criminal Duty Solicitor
Salary: 35,000 - 50,000 + Bonus for out of hours call outs + Bonus structure.
Location: Weston Super Mare, Hybrid/field based.
Hours: Full time, may include evenings and weekends.

Due to expansion, a well-established multi-practice law firm, with offices across the South West, is looking to bring in another Criminal Duty Solicitor to their highly reputable team. This is an ideal position for a Qualified Duty Solicitor within Criminal Law that is looking to join a firm that understands the sheer demands of this job. They are flexible and allow you to work from home when you are not out on police station visits or in court, as well as providing you with secretarial and assistant support.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
Covering Duty Solicitor rota slots at court and at the police station. Advocacy in court. Police station interview call outs. To be considered for this position you must:
Be a UK qualified solicitor and hold a practicing certificate, as well as being Duty qualified. Be comfortable working field-based across the South West area. Be comfortable working out of hours.
