- Full-time opportunity available on a temporary contract basis - Locum Position for 3 months starting mid-January! Are you a Justice Social Worker looking for an opportunity to broaden your experience? You could be enjoying the adventure of working in a beautiful area within the highlands whilst using your skills and experience within the Justice Service! The contract on offer is for approximately 3 months starting from 13th January and it is a full-time position. There is also a 60/40 office/home working policy. Qualifications and Experience: It is essential to have experience of working within the Justice System and be LCSMI Trained. It is also desirable to be trained in SA07, RM00 & SARA. A degree in Social Work is required. Client supervision, individual and coworking, as well as multidisciplinary working experience. Experience of assessment and writing skills for the court and parole board is essential. Driving licence is also essential. Job Details: Work with individuals with a range of offences including high-risk sexual and violent offences. Compile risk assessments and assess risk on an ongoing basis. Implement action/care plans, develop and deliver group work and individual programmes based on identified criminogenic needs. Enable provision of data to and interpret data within VISOR. Supervise clients subject to Community Payback Orders and Licence and support accredited group work programmes. Prepare written work to a high standard, including client progress recordings, review and completion reports, and reports to courts. Work alongside criminal justice colleagues, other social work colleagues, and other agencies to provide a service to clients within the framework of national outcomes and standards.
