Job Description: This role is ideal for Criminal Solicitors passionate about Criminal Law and committed to long-term career growth. Our Client is seeking skilled lawyers with the ambition to assume leadership roles as Department Supervisors, Heads of Departments, and Directors, helping shape the future of the firm. This role requires a combination of legal expertise, business acumen, and a forward-thinking approach to client engagement. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee criminal defence cases, ensuring quality representation and client satisfaction Lead and supervise team members, providing support and fostering a positive work environment Contribute to business development by expanding client relationships and the firm's presence Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards within the team Play a role in strategic decisions alongside Directors, driving growth and efficiency within the firm Requirements: Experienced Criminal Solicitor with a track record of managing independent caseloads Strong business acumen, familiarity with modern technology, and creative approaches to client relations Demonstrated leadership ability with a passion for mentoring and developing team members Commitment to the Criminal Justice System and a positive outlook for the future of Criminal Law Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with resilience in high-pressure situations Benefits: Competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000, based on experience £1,000 joining bonus to assist with moving or job transition 28 days annual leave, plus an additional day for each year of service 10% own-client referral bonus Additional paid holiday on your birthday Career advancement opportunities, with pathways to senior roles and partnership Apply in the strictest of confidence online and/or via telephone - there is no need for a CV for an initial conversation.
