Responsibilities for the Criminal Law Solicitor / Lawyer Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and other legal matters. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development. Provide sound legal advice to clients on a range of issues, ensuring they understand their rights and obligations. Prepare cases for trial by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and developing arguments. Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications. Stay updated on changes in legislation and legal precedents that may impact clients or cases. Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to ensure comprehensive legal support. Skills for the Criminal Law Solicitor / Lawyer Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients' interests. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex legal concepts clearly. Exceptional analytical thinking with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple cases simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike. for the Criminal Lawyer / Solicitor Minimum (2 years) experience as a criminal lawyer Proven track record of achievements Be passionate and motivated and looking for long-term career development opportunities. Driving licence as you would need to be able to commute to court hearings.
