The appointed Solicitor will be dealing with a range of contentious matters relating to criminal law and prosecutions, conducting court advocacy and advisory work for a diverse range of clients on sensitive situations.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for preparing and presenting cases in court, reviewing evidence, case files, and charging decisions to deliver effective legal advice, with the opportunity to work from home at least 2-3 days per week. You will benefit from a comprehensive induction training program, mentoring, and on-the-job coaching to ensure a smooth and well-supported transition into your new role in prosecutions. Requirements:
This position is open to Solicitors and Barristers with a valid practising certificate in England and Wales. Ideally, candidates will have over 2 years of experience in criminal law or regulatory prosecutions and demonstrate a genuine passion for this field. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to provide well-reasoned judgments are essential for this role, along with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
