Main duties of the job The team takes a recovery-oriented, formulation-driven approach which values shared decision-making. The team will be based at The Orchards Ripon and operates over 24 hours, 7 days a week with a 12-hour shift working pattern.
The team is able to support newly qualified clinicians through the preceptorship programme. Successful applicants will be members of a multi-disciplinary team, with ample opportunity to develop and enhance existing clinical skills. You will receive regular supervision and there are good training opportunities.
As a member of the team, you will provide a service to individuals who present with a mental health crisis and may require a period of crisis intervention as an alternative to admission. The team is also responsible for gatekeeping admissions to the acute admission ward as well as supporting bed management.
