ABOUT OUR DATA STRATEGY Data is a core part of the MONY Group strategy. Since 2021, we’ve been on a journey to modernize our underlying infrastructure and related capabilities. As our foundational infrastructure has become more established, we are focusing more on long-term value creation, continuous delivery of enhancements, and iterative development based on user feedback, so that our data products evolve to meet the changing needs of the business. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a CRM Engineer to join our brilliant CRM Solution team and help us maintain and improve our CRM stack as well as enabling the business. This highly cross-functional role sits within the Data team and provides a huge opportunity to get exposed to amazing tech (GitHub, GCP, Braze) and great knowledge. The CRM Solutions team and Braze play a pivotal role within the group, supporting all of our brands: Quidco, MoneySuperMarket, and MoneySavingExpert.

This role will have the opportunity to contribute to growth by working closely with the CRM strategy team, tech teams, and product teams. On their day to day, this person will: Implement SQL pipelines and manipulate JSON to create new data points. Work within Braze to implement complex, highly personalized campaigns. Maintain a healthy platform by promptly troubleshooting and finding robust solutions to incidents. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Technical skills Intermediate/Advanced SQL knowledge used to build data processes and support with reporting. Extensive experience using one of the major CRM solutions (ideally Braze, but open to similar solutions). Understanding of CRM metrics and KPIs. Knowledge of email and messaging best practices. Good level of knowledge of at least one scripting language (ideally Liquid or similar) to an advanced level, and ability to solve coding challenges to manipulate data and implement decision logic. Good understanding of data flows and data infrastructure, including the ability to work with and manipulate data arrays and JSON formatted data. Experience with Postman or similar using APIs to retrieve information. Experience working with email messages and journey/flows set up. Working knowledge of HTML & CSS coding for email clients is beneficial. Python knowledge is also desirable. Attitudinal skills Good communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Knowledge of testing and quality assurance processes and technologies. Experience of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; identifying and communicating solutions in a clear, precise, and actionable manner. A desire to drive a positive culture (putting the customer at the heart of decisions) and strong business ethics (doing the right thing) to ensure good outcomes for consumers. INTERVIEW PROCESS 30mins call to run through your experience and the role, some high-level basic technical questions may also be included at this stage. 60mins interview. The first 30 minutes will include a SQL technical exercise, and the second half will be both competency and behavioural questions.
