Cross-Border Product Development Manager
A
global, top tier asset management firm
is seeking a bright and ambitious individual to join their Product team as a
Product Development Manager . You will partner with
Investments, Distribution, and Legal
to
launch
and implement new investment products,
managing
the funds throughout the
entire lifecycle , own the governance, and
present to boards and committees where appropriate . Key Responsibilities: Lead the
development and enhancement
of
UCITS
&
OEIC
products, including
product design, structuring, and documentation .
Identify market opportunities
that
ensure the needs and expectations of identified customer groups are met . Oversee the preparation of
marketing materials , prospectuses, and investor documentation. Work with
internal stakeholders
to ensure all
products comply with relevant regulations and guidelines , maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and implementing necessary adjustments. Handle the design and delivery of product initiatives
to agreed timescales and budgets . Manage & monitor the existing range
of fund products and coordinate
changes, merges, liquidations, rationalisations
etc. where necessary. Maintain a
strong awareness of relevant market activity
and work closely with colleagues to develop ideas that contribute to the
future strategic direction of the business . Provide
technical expertise
to internal stakeholders about product structures and processes. Candidate Profile: 6 years' minimum experience
in a
Product role within asset management . Candidates with experience in Project Management/Product Delivery/Implementation will also be considered. IMC, CFA
or similar qualification is preferable. Knowledge of product and proposition design as well as a technical knowledge of
pooled product structures including UCITS and non-UCITS structures . International asset management industry knowledge
with extensive knowledge of investment products.
