We are looking to recruit experienced support workers in the Retford area to work nights in a modern residential care setting alongside existing staff to provide bespoke support for residents. Our client specializes in assisting and looking after females with various mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
Job Details:
Your general duties will include assisting service users with their daily life and personal care, supporting their physical and mental wellbeing, engaging in fun activities to promote the highest quality of life, and providing company and emotional support. If you are a passionate support worker looking for a great opportunity to make a genuine impact on people’s lives, focusing on their self-development to provide a route back into the community, then this could be the role for you. You will be working either 08:00 to 20:00 or 20:00 to 08:00 with hours available between Monday to Sunday.
The pay rate for this role is:
£11.50 per hour, Days £12.75 per hour, Nights.
To apply for this role you must:
Have referenceable work history. Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (including moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults, and infection control). Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service. Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a mental health-supported-living service.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidized fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
