Your general duties will include assisting the residents with their daily life and personal care, supporting their physical and mental wellbeing, engaging in activities to promote the highest quality of life, and providing company and emotional support. You will be undertaking moving and handling duties on quite a regular basis. You will be working 07:00 to 14:15 or 14:00 to 22:00 over the weekends. Due to the location of this service, we are looking for applicants within the local area or with their own transport, as the timings of public transport options within the area do not match the shift requirements. The pay rate for this role is:
£11.44 per hour for hours worked between 07:00 to 19:00 £15.22 per hour for hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00 Hours:

Be able to provide 2 years of professional referencing, including 1 from your most recent employer. Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (including Practical moving and handling training). Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 4 months or registered on the update service. Have a minimum of 12 months paid UK work experience working within a care home or nursing home setting. Have a full, up-to-date CV with a minimum of 5 years of employment history. Due to the location of this position and restrictions on public transport options, it is recommended that you have access to your own transport. If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee, and the certificates are yours to keep!
