We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a CSM Production Actuary within our Actuarial Production team.

Who are we?

We want to be the best place that any of our 6,600 colleagues have ever worked. We’re the UK’s largest long-term savings and retirement business. We offer a range of products across our market-leading brands, Standard Life, SunLife, Phoenix Life and ReAssure. Around 1 in 5 people in the UK has a pension with us. We’re a FTSE 100 organisation that is tackling key issues such as transitioning our portfolio to net zero by 2050, and we’re not done yet.

The role

The CSM Production Actuary will be part of our Actuarial Production team, primarily focusing on the delivery of IFRS17 results. You will work as part of a small team (albeit part of a much larger IFRS17 team) pulling together inputs for the CSM engine, running the CSM tool and extracting the results. You will be responsible for the first line of review of the results before handing over to the IFRS17 Review Team and will then work closely with the team to understand the results and explain any movements. You will work across a range of stakeholders to resolve conflicts and manage expectations on delivery timescales. You will also need to ensure Controls are satisfied and engage with auditors regarding the CSM Production process.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an organised individual with strong IFRS17 knowledge and stakeholder management skills with keen attention to detail and a positive can-do approach. You will be a key team player within the wider IFRS17 Production team, linking the Production team and the Review & Consolidation teams.

We want to hire the whole version of you.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If your experience looks different from what we’ve advertised and you believe that you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you.

If you require any adjustments to the recruitment process, please let us know so we can help you to be at your best.
