You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers and HCA's. You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role; rest assured, should you not have any prior experience in IV cannulation, Alliance Medical will provide full training. Hep B immunisation is necessary for this role. The hours for this role are 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday. Please note: At present, the service is undertaken on Mobile MRI and CT scanner, which is located close to the Kings Heath site; these services will transition into the new purpose-built centre once building work is completed. The ideal candidate will perform a wide variety of CT examinations and this would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience to further develop their career. The successful candidate will have a flexible and patient-focused attitude and be able to work flexibly within the team. We are looking for someone who can build an excellent rapport with patients and customers (both internal and external) and continue to provide high standards of care and service. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 1 year experience in CT, with the ability and organisational skills to work with the team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy are essential. The candidate should be accustomed to performing different types of CT and MRI scans (including contrast and non-contrast) on a routine basis. Previous cannulation experience would be an advantage. IV Cannulation skills are essential for this role (training will be provided where required). Evidence of Clinical competency. Flexible approach to work. Able to work as part of a team as well as independently. Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills including time management. Excellent communication skills.
