Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be provided with an induction period, during which time it will be ensured that they are equipped to perform all of the CT procedures undertaken throughout the 24/7 service. CT Radiographers will be required to participate in the 24/7 shift pattern.
They will have excellent communication and organizational skills and be keen to develop and support the provision of a patient-focused quality service. They should have evidence of effective teamwork and leadership experience whilst ensuring a patient-centered approach to care at all times.
Your day-to-day role would include:
Efficient and effective running of the CT lists, ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to provide a safe and efficient environment for the patient. Participate in the supervision of student Radiographers. Maintain good working relationships with all Departments and be proactive at all times.

We perform many radiographer led lists such as CT colonography, cardiac angiograms, biopsies and other interventional procedures and we are also keen to implement radiographer led vetting.
As part of the team you will be required to partake in a 24/7 shift rota which consists of days, long days and nights.
You will be joining a strong, supportive and experienced team in CT with future plans for role/service development.
