An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and highly motivated CT Radiographer to be based at Darlington Memorial Hospital with rotation through Bishop Auckland and occasional visits to the other sites. It is an excellent opportunity for anyone wishing to join a friendly team and gain experience in all aspects of CT scanning whilst working in a re-designed department with 5 new scanners cross trust that support a wide range of referrers. Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will be provided with an induction period, during which time it will be ensured that they are equipped to perform all of the CT procedures undertaken throughout the 24/7 service. CT Radiographers will be required to participate in the 24/7 shift pattern. They will have excellent communication and organizational skills and be keen to develop and support the provision of a patient focused quality service. They should have evidence of effective teamwork and leadership experience whilst ensuring a patient-centered approach to care at all times. Your day-to-day role would include: Efficient and effective running of the CT lists, ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to provide a safe and efficient environment for the patient. Participate in the supervision of student Radiographers. Maintain good working relationships with all Departments and be proactive at all times. About Us

As part of the team you will be required to partake in a 24/7 shift rota which consists of days, long days and nights.
