Are you passionate about the difference arts and culture can make in communities? As a Cultural Development Manager, you will play a leading role in growing arts and cultural engagement and provision in Rushmoor, as well as supporting wider engagement across Hampshire. You will work closely with the Senior Cultural Development Manager and Director of Strategy and Partnerships to guide and support local partners in delivering impactful arts and culture provisions in line with our NPO commitments. This role will work closely with Rushmoor Borough Council to increase participation in arts, culture, and heritage and build a case for future investments. This role has been funded by Arts Council England. While some provision for home working is possible, you can expect to regularly meet face to face with partners and stakeholders and visit different locations across Rushmoor. A bit about you

Your experience in the cultural sector will have given you first-hand knowledge of how to harness arts and heritage to make a difference in communities. You will be able to draw lessons from past experiences and apply them to a new context in Rushmoor. Throughout your career, you will have learned how to connect with people, making it easier for you to build support from different stakeholders while driving forward change. You will be familiar with the challenges and rewards of co-creation, partnership, and consultation, and sensitive to the dynamics of the groups you are working with. You will be confident in charting a course to achieve defined targets and outcomes, and know how to rally a group in pursuit of a common goal. The prospect of working on multiple projects simultaneously will energize you, and you will be comfortable developing your workplan and prioritizing your approach. What it’s like to work for us

We aim to be inclusive, valuing, and respectful of diversity, developing the ability to recruit and retain a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve and seek to engage.
