Equine and Adventure Education, Sport and Equine is a key curriculum offering at Plumpton College and this role as Curriculum Manager is an exciting opportunity to shape and further develop our provision to meet the needs of our growing student population.

Delivering a range of programmes from Level 1 to degree courses, the ideal candidate will have previous experience of managing a dynamic and motivated team and have extensive specialist knowledge along with relevant professional and teaching qualifications. The successful applicant will be an inspiring leader with a sound understanding of budget management. Utilising the excellent equine management facilities, you will also oversee the College's working equine yard and work with our yard manager to set out a visionary plan for its future development and investment.

As Curriculum Manager for Equine and Adventure Education, you'll be at the heart of our mission. Reporting to the Vice Principal (Curriculum and Quality), you'll lead our team in providing exceptional educational experiences while building strong industry partnerships and shaping the future of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

Inspire Excellence : Lead and mentor staff to achieve outstanding teaching and learning outcomes. Innovate and Deliver : Shape curriculum plans that respond to industry trends and labour market needs. Engage Industry : Build strong partnerships with equine and adventure organizations to enhance the student experience. Operational Oversight : Manage budgets, staff performance, and facilities to deliver an unparalleled educational environment. Teach and Lead : Model outstanding teaching practices and drive standards across the division. What We're Looking For

You'll be an experienced and ambitious professional with:

A strong background in equine or adventure education and relevant sector knowledge. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate teams and lead change. A teaching or assessing qualification and experience in driving outstanding student outcomes. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
