Customer Development Manager – Boots

MacGregor Black is currently working with a Growing Haircare business on the search for a commercially focused Customer Development Manager. This is a permanent role with hybrid working opportunities with regular travel to London.
As the Customer Development Manager, you will lead the Boots account, working closely with the Sales Director to prioritise the growth of this retailer across two brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build the sales strategy for Boots across two brands aiming for outstanding execution and sales growth across current and new product launches.
- Create a best-in-class sales activation plan with Boots showing priority on customer intimacy; consistent in providing solutions and ideas to retailer key objectives.
- Work cross functionally within a small but highly energetic and ambitious team serving to add a valuable contribution as priority.
- Work closely with trade marketing optimising execution and aggressively attacking share of voice both on shelf and online against a highly competitive market landscape.
- Align and prioritise both brand KPI’s and objectives as priority seeking to deliver strong ROI.
- Be the voice of Boots internally, inform and deliver your vision seeking to drive transformational growth.
What are we looking for?
- 3+years working on the Boots account, experience within the beauty/haircare industry would be highly desirable.
- Commercially focused with strong negotiation/influencing skills.
- Customer obsessed with ability to identify market trends.
- Highly analytical with ability to report and forecast on sales performance against budget KPI’s.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a natural disposition to seek opportunities.
- High profile national account management experience that is hungry to deliver results and increase sales output
