Duties/Responsibilities

Nurture and build strong relationships with customers to ensure they receive a first-rate experience.

Take inbound calls.

Identify and pursue own business opportunities and leads in accordance with agreed target levels.

Send out account application and direct debit forms and follow them through to completion.

Manage customers' accounts as part of sales ordering process, paying attention to credit limits and outstanding debt.

Support with other daily/weekly/monthly sales office tasks:

3rd party orders

Invoicing & enquiries

Keep up to date on product and promotional information.

Experience/Skills Required

Experience of working within a similar role.

Detailed knowledge and demonstrative experience of Customer Service Excellence.

Detailed knowledge and demonstrative experience of achieving sales and working towards key performance indicators.

Ability to build strong and effective relationships with customers and colleagues.

Able to show initiative and make decisions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Maintain a professional attitude, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and commitment when dealing with customers and colleagues.

Articulate, organised, and customer-focused.

Good computer skills including Microsoft Office packages (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Hours/Benefits

37.50hrs per week, Monday - Friday 08.30am - 17.00pm (1hr lunch break).

Saturday morning cover on a rota system 08.00am - 12.00pm (this is overtime paid at time and a half).

Potential sales incentives for upselling.

33 days holiday p.a. (including bank holidays).
