Based at Wallasey CH44 7HX Job Purpose: As part of a team, support the Customer Service Team in delivering a consistently high level of service to users and the wheelchair service team and ensure administration is completed in an accurate and timely manner. Key Responsibilities: Answering the telephone and inputting any relevant information from the telephone call into the database on the computer. Develop strong relationships with the wheelchair service team. Update computer records for reconditioned and new wheelchairs. Raising job cards on the computer system and ensuring all details are correct and ready for the engineer to carry out the visit to the service user. Contact service users to arrange visits by the engineer for repairs, collections and deliveries. Filing or scanning all relevant paperwork and job cards, setting up and maintenance of filing systems as and when required. Ensure workloads are managed effectively and all daily tasks are completed. Maintain a professional customer service attitude when dealing with all service users and other agencies. Observe all regulations covering the confidentiality of the service user information accessed in undertaking the role. Agree to undertake all training offered that is necessary to maintain the skills required for this role. Liaise effectively between departments to ensure excellent customer service and information accuracy is maintained. Skills and Qualifications: Computer literate Good communication, verbal and written Experience of invoicing and accounts procedures Experience of working within a service provider industry Flexible approach to working conditions and working environment change Self-motivated and enthusiastic worker Confidentiality: During the course of the work involved with this position, the role will become party to confidential information including service user information. It is of paramount importance that all information is kept on a private and confidential basis and not disclosed to any other person. Other: This role involves contact with vulnerable people and access to their records and therefore it will be necessary for the company to obtain a satisfactory DBS check on all staff employed in this role.
