Birmingham (Hybrid working available: 2 days in office, 3 days at home after probation) About the Role: We are working with a leading manufacturer and supplier in the furniture industry, in their search for a dedicated Customer Service Executive. The successful candidate will play a key role in handling customer enquiries, managing orders, and providing exceptional after-sales support. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in sales or administration, who excels in delivering great customer service and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, online chat, and face-to-face interactions. Process orders, payments, and manage upselling opportunities. Send invoices and other paperwork, ensuring accuracy in all customer communications. Update and maintain customer records using the CRM system. Organise deliveries and provide after-sales support, ensuring timely follow-up and issue resolution. Proactively engage with existing, lapsed, and new customers to promote the company’s portfolio of products. Assist with credit control by contacting customers in breach of their agreed payment terms. Manage and input claims between the UK office and head office, as well as from customers to the UK office. Key Skills and Experience: Experience in sales and/or administration is essential. Technical administration skills are advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse customer interactions. Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook. Close attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks. What Our Client Offers: Competitive salary based on experience.
