Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm Salary: Depending on experience Location: Nottingham (Office based) Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our key accounts, developing and managing client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities. You will play a crucial role in achieving our business objectives while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading oriental food importer and distribution specialist selling across a wide range of markets including grocery multiples, convenience, foodservice and catering. Duties Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or live chat Provide accurate information regarding products and services Manage the day-to-day relationship and contact with the retail buying teams Book appointments with supermarket buyers/head office teams Satisfy requests made by customers related to invoices, purchase orders, and other documents Administer key accounts, including new line forms and updating and reviewing EDI systems Provide appropriate customer support in relation to new product launches, including new line information, product codes, and pack samples/mock-ups Track customer orders and respond to requests Liaise with Supply Chain, Warehouse, logistics, and the Customer to secure well-executed in-store promotions and availability Deliver agreed monthly and three-monthly business sales forecasts Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions through data entry Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner while ensuring satisfaction Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved Demonstrate excellent phone and email etiquette and maintain a courteous attitude at all times Support the Sales Director by researching accounts and generating sales leads for the JK Foods Tiger Tiger brand to open new listings across retail grocers as well as develop other sales channels such as foodservice and catering Assist the Sales Director with business presentations to present to the major retailers' Buying Team Experience Proficiency in English both verbal and written is essential Previous experience in a customer service role is essential Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers Familiarity with data entry systems and advanced computer applications, particularly Excel, is essential A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Multitasking and time management skills to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously Attention to detail and strong organisational skills Join us in delivering outstanding service that makes a difference!
