Your new role As a Customer Support Engineer, you will interact with customers daily via phone and email, assisting with spare parts enquiries, troubleshooting, providing quotations, and processing orders. You will proactively communicate with customers regarding services and spare parts, manage equipment installations and site visits, and maintain spare parts pricelists and manuals. Your role will also involve troubleshooting issues with suppliers and customers, managing logistics for component parts, handling warranty cases, and ensuring compliance with ISO-9001 standards.

What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills to deal with a global customer base, good technical expertise in mechanical and hydraulic systems, and beneficial electrical knowledge. Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Excel, is essential. Experience with SolidWorks is advantageous. You should have 2-3 years of experience in sales and experience in after-sales engineering parts is beneficial. Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are crucial.
