Customer Support Engineering Manager
Salary is in the region of £65K + bonus + company vehicle + other benefits. (Salary is dependant on experience, skill level etc).

About the Role:
To support new machine tool sales and warranty obligations as well as deliver engineering sales in line with the company budget. This role is ideal for an Engineering Manager with a strong background in engineering and customer support, who is looking to contribute to a reputable and dynamic company. There will be occasional travel to customer sites with an occasional overnight stay. The company supplies high-speed machine tools to a wide variety of precision engineering companies within the Aerospace, Automotive, Power Generation, Oil and Gas, and Motorsport sectors. They provide excellent training to their customers and internal staff. Responsibilities:
Supporting machine tool sales and warranties. Managing the technical helpdesk. Assisting service engineers with onsite customer issues. Supporting regional team leaders. Providing customers with service issue diagnosis and root cause analysis. Motivating and mentoring the service team. Candidates will need to have good commercial awareness and negotiation skills. Requirements:
Proven experience in managing a team of service engineers and technical support staff. Strong commercial acumen with effective customer service and negotiation skills. Engineering Management experience is essential, with a preference for candidates with machine tool knowledge. Engineering degree preferred but not essential. UK driving license required. Health and Safety knowledge is paramount; IOSHH or equivalent certification would be an advantage. Candidates need to be IT literate. This is an exceptional engineering company - great to work for.
