Customer Support Manager Global Manufacturer About Our Client Page Group are working with a key client on the appointment of a new Customer Support Manager to join their UK offices based in the Sheffield Area. This role will be responsible for servicing and support of a UK and European customer base (B2B) and will work closely with varying functions across the group. Job Description Lead and motivate the internal Customer Support function to deliver world-class service during all interactions with customers across the UK & Europe (B2B) from a wide range of industries. Responsibility for the Customer Order Portal, ensuring customer orders are assigned and actioned within agreed SLAs, along with managing customer communications via phone and email. Manage the exportation process for customer orders including customer declarations and documentation, along with arranging transport both internally and through third-party carriers. Liaise with production and planning regularly to manage customer expectations from a lead time perspective and take a proactive approach to managing the order book. Support the sales function with onboarding, pricing, and administration requirements where needed. Drive continuous improvement activities across the department with a focus on improving customer satisfaction, productivity, and efficiency. The Successful Applicant Experience in managing a Customer Service/Support, Internal Sales, or Order Management function. Understanding of the manufacturing process. Knowledge of European export (desirable). Strong customer-focused approach. Ability to lead, motivate, and deliver performance across a team. What's on Offer The Customer Support Manager role will join a true industry leader within the manufacturing space at their offices in Sheffield. The role offers a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 along with excellent company benefits.
