Customer Team Leader
Location: Victoria Square, Evercreech, Shepton Mallet, BA4 6JP
Pay: £13.32 per hour
Contract: 39 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, full time
Working pattern: 5 varied shifts over 7 days between 6am and 5pm including weekends, to be discussed at interview

You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team leader at Co-op, as you'll need to authorise age-related sales.
We're looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op.
As a Customer Team Leader, you'll be part of a friendly team that's dedicated to helping our customers. We'll look to you to help lead the store team - coaching and supervising our Customer Team Members and deputising for the Store Manager, while also delivering great customer service and performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.
What you'll do
Provide friendly and thoughtful service every day, supporting tasks on the post office counter, managing the store, and handling challenging situations.
Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is valued and respected.
Ensure that the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational.
Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Support your store manager by deputising when they're not working and delivering a variety of HR processes.
Lead the way when introducing new products and services in your store and encourage open and honest feedback.
Build relationships and get involved in your local community, supporting your Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan.
