Customs Administrators

Previous experience within a similar role is preferable, but this is a great chance to kickstart your logistics career as full training will be supplied. Responsibilities: Preparing and submitting customs declarations using simplified, summary, and standard procedures. Ensuring compliance with customs regulations, including verifying the accuracy of data such as CPC codes, commodity codes, import/export licensing, and EORI numbers. Providing advice to traders on customs clearance and related procedures. Applying HMRC valuation methods to calculate and declare customs charges, and managing payment schedules. Maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. Coordinating with shippers, customs agents, and freight forwarders to ensure the efficient movement of goods. Building relationships with new and existing customers and forwarding customs release messages to clients and their representatives. Engaging in continuous professional development to stay updated on customs policies and procedures. Requirements: Excellent attention to detail. Results-driven. Excellent levels of customer service.
