Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client in Ballyclare to recruit a new full-time and permanent Customs Administrator.

The candidate hired for this job will be responsible for chasing import & export shipment documents, liaising with customers, and dealing with their queries via phone, web portal, and email.

The successful candidate will need to have previous hands-on Customs experience and must be an excellent communicator, commercially aware, with great attention to detail.

You will work well as part of a team and promote good working relationships with internal and external colleagues. You will liaise both internally & externally to ensure all customs procedures are followed, enabling the efficient movement of goods between the UK & Ireland.

Essential Criteria:

Previous Customs experience essential Experience of working in a busy transport office or logistics background Administrative experience working within a fast-paced, busy office environment Experience in the use of all Microsoft packages
